Embrace the feminine

Mother's Day is the day to officially embrace the Feminine but it doesn't have to be just one day a year, one person or even a female. We have often discussed that we all have both masculine and feminine traits. It simply depends upon situations and degrees. In the wilderness an eight foot male Grizzly Bear is ferocious but you certainly don't want to come up against a six foot female Grizzly defending its cubs! That would be even more terrifying.

When we look at the qualities of the feminine we find protectiveness, nurturing, teaching, empathy and so much more. As we look beyond gender markers we find these traits in all beings. When we seek to embrace the feminine it is these traits we find. Mother's Day can be a tricky day to observe because it might not have been a biological Mother who gifted them to us. Perhaps it was a Coach, Teacher, neighbor or friend. What's more it may have been a biological mother as well as one or more of these people.

As Ashtar does this week's video and intention he addresses this very quandary. If you were fortunate to have a biological mother who fulfilled these roles might there have been others along the way who also contributed? The point is we want to embrace the feminine wherever we find it. And yes, it is quite acceptable to honor the feminine in males as well. The more we recognize the traits of the feminine the more balanced our world will become.

And a gentle reminder; Ashtar and I will be in Seattle Friday May 15 at 7:00PM with the Seattle Metaphysical Library. We would love to have you join us. To get tickets or other information please call (206) 329-1794 or email newsletter@seattlemetaphysicallibrary.org. If you will be in the area, if you know someone who will be in the area, if you have ever heard of someone in the area please pass along this information so we can help a most worthy organization.

Many Blessings of Universal Love,

Terrie
