Nourishment

Your nourishment, along with every other step up the ascension ladder, begins within. How are you doing with that? You know, it makes me laugh sometimes when a situation or event occurs that gets me sideways. Speaking as Terrie here I can stomp my feet, yell, pout, the whole thing. Then a few days later I realized that I really learned something powerful from the experience. Sometimes I recognize a shift in my empathy or a surprise understanding. So when I call something "good" or another thing "bad" I have to remind myself that as individuals we don't really know if any one thing is nourishment or not. The Universe is amazing that way!
This week's video intention from Ashtar helped me remember this simple lesson of life. We don't have the perspective to necessarily judge what is nourishment or what is distraction moment by moment. This is an example of how the Universe fulfills our dreams, goals and desires from an unlimited array of choices. When I remember this I am called to be less likely to judge events and people. Perhaps the Buddhist Monks who walked from Texas to Washington D.C. were reminding us of this or at least one of the things they gave us to contemplate.
The nourishment we are talking about here is the nourishment which feeds our own evolution. Sometimes evolution takes place "under the radar", sometimes right before our eyes, As we become more connected to everything we discover many opportunities to move up the ladder. This is not because the lessons or opportunities are new, it's because we are more conscious of their arrival.
Life doesn't unfold in a linear progression as it would by climbing a ladder. We may learn a lesson then a year later be offered the same lesson again. It's not that we didn't learn the lesson, it's because we are learning the same lesson from a higher level of consciousness. Think of ascension as an upward spiral. We are constantly expanding, constantly seeing things from a higher level. We can then take this new understanding and live it, expanding it from ourselves to the world at large.
Many Blessings of Universal Love,
Terrie
